Overview
Gynecomastia is characterized by enlargement of male breast due to increase glandular tissue. This may be on one side or both side. This occurs due to imbalance in hormones.
Procedure
Surgically this condition can be treated with liposuction and /or gland excision. A cut is made in areola in order to hide the scar. This enables the glandular tissue to be removed easily. The breast fat can be removed easily by the lipo-suction machine. A pressure dressing is applied after surgery. Drains may be kept.
