Breast Enlargement

Overview

Woman get their breast bigger and fuller by breast implant surgery. It is done for reconstructive purpose such as after breast cancer surgery and for cosmetic reason.

Procedure

Two basic type of implants are available 1. Saline 2.Silicone gel. They come in different sizes and have either, smooth or textured shells. A small cut is made in the infra-mammary crease and the implant is put inside the breast under the gland or under the muscles. This is also done throug axillary incision.

Duration

The surgery takes about 2 to 3 hours

Anaesthesia

General anesthesia usually prefered during which you will be asleep and pain free.

Stay

1 to 2 days

Risks

Pain, changes in sensation of nipple, bleeding, infection, skin necrosis.

Recovery

2 to 3 weeks

Return to work

in 15 days
